The Awards
Successful candidates will received their award in an offical award ceremony, organised by the University of Vienna. The 2023 award ceremony will be held on May 31, 2023 via Zoom.
In addition, successful candidates are requested to attend a workshop connected with the Baron Awards. The 2023 workshop will be held on June 1, 2023 via Zoom. The topic of the 2023 workshop will be "Experiencing the Jewish Bible: Spotlights on History and Tradition" in relation to the Senior Award laureate’s field of research.
All presentations will be published in a new series dedicated to all presentations given in connection with the Baron Awards. The series Baron Lectures: Studies on the Jewish Experience will be published with Brill Publishers Germany.
